was a plantation in Aroostook County, organized on September 26, 1898. Nearly 100 years later, on July 1, 1990, it surrendered its organization to again become an unorganized territory. (Township E is a different township in Franklin County.)
The 2011 audit reports that “Meteorological Towers and Wind Power Projects permitted in the Unorganized Territory” includes towers on Mountain 19 in the south of the township and on Burnt Land Ridge in its northwest corner.
