Good day. My mother (Althea Healy Chapman) taught school in Athens, Maine, in the one room school house around 1920-1922. Would I be able to find a paper stating that? I don’t know the name of the school or even if it’s still there. My parents are buried in Athens at Mount Hill cemetary. I hope to be buried there also.
I have a copy of my mothers diploma from Normal School and would love to get a picture of the school or documentation showing her employment. Thanks for anything you could do for me.
