Portland’s West End Neighborhood is well known for its fine nineteenth and early twentieth century houses and tree-lined streets. Its area basically extends west of that portion of State Street between Congress Street and Commercial Street to the Western Prom.
The West End is near Maine Medical Center, the waterfront, and downtown Portland.
