Bar Mills is a community on the Saco River in York County centered on the intersection of Maine routes 112 and 4A, otherwise known as Emory Corner. The Grange Hall has been restored and enhanced as a cultural center and theater with a performance and exhibition space.
The village includes the Old White Church that has been restored to include an exhibition and meeting space, the Buxton-Hollis Historical Society, the Berry Memorial Library, and the offices of Maine School Administrative District #6. Bar Mills actually includes parts of the two adjoining towns of Buxton and Hollis but is not a separate municipality of its own.
