  Portland area suffers minor damage from an earthquake centered about 20 miles offshore: a few cracked walls at Portland and split chimneys, broken windows and dishes at Westbrook.
  2020   Maine CDC reports over 1,000 cases for COVID-19 (Coronavirus) as 1,015 are confirmed; 532 recovered; and 50 deaths state-wide. Aroostook County has 4 confirmed cases, as the virus has moved from Cumberland County north, and east to Washington County with 2 confirmed cases.
  2021   Maine CDC reports over 618,363 cases for COVID-19 (Coronavirus); 50,021 are confirmed, 18,363,others are probable; 843 deaths. Each of the 16 counties have at least 327 confirmed cases.
